Fight Likes Apes reschedule Irish tour, get Ting Tings UK support
Fight Like Apes have rescheduled some of the dates on their upcoming Irish tour, and will now support the Ting Tings on their September/October UK tour.
Fight Like Apes are about to embark on their album tour before their debut Fight Like Apes And The Mystery Of The Golden Medallion hits the shelves on September 26.
And now they've bagged a support slot on the Ting Tings UK tour, forcing them to reschedule their planned Irish dates.
The new dates are as follows: Cyprus Avenue, Cork (October 12); Roisin Dubh, Galway (13); Dolan's, Limerick (14); The Stables, Mullingar (17) and the Spirit Store, Dundalk (19). The October 10 Electric Avenue show in Waterford is postponed until a new date can be arranged.
If you've already got your tickets, don't worry – they'll still be valid for the new dates.
FLApes will still play their album launch show in Whelan's on September 26, in the midst of the Ting Tings whirlwind UK tour.
MayKay and Co. play support to the Ting Tings on these dates:
Carling Academy, Liverpool (September 20); Barrowlands, Glasgow (21); Carling Academy, Newcastle (23); Rock City, Nottingham (24); Guildhall, Southampton (25); UEA, Norwich (28); The Engine Shed, Lincoln (29); Leicester University (30); Academy, Manchester (October 2+3); Carling Academy, Birmingham (4); University Great Hall, Cardiff (5); Carling Academy, Bristol (7); Shepard's Bush Empire, London (8); Forum, London (9+10).
Ahead of all this touring/album madness you can check out the lads' new single, the shiny new 'Jake Summers', which is available on CD, blue 7" vinyl and online from September 19.
