According to The Tuam Herald, the show is set in the late 1980s and early 1990s and draws on memories and stories from Tuam, a market town in North Galway where the band is from.
It also portrays cultural landmarks including Macnas Theatre Company in Galway and the recording of The Waterboys' Fisherman's Blues in An Spidéal.
The production has received support from Galway City Council Arts Office, the Town Hall Theatre Patron Scheme and an Agility Award from the Arts Council.
