“Fifth Beatle” on the mend

According to reports, 83-year-old Martin spent one night in hospital but was released and is now back home. It has not yet been revealed what the surgery was for. Martin became The Beatles’ long-term producer after they had successfully auditioned for him in 1962 at Abbey Road studios.
