There will be a limited number of extra tickets on sale for the band's June 8 show
Rage Against the Machine have announced that there will be extra tickets on sale this Thursday, April 22, for their one-off O2 gig in June.
The band, whose last Irish appearance was a stomping headliner show at 2008's Oxegen festival, will have rock metal outfit Gogol Bordello in tow as support when they play the O2 for the first time.
Rage hit the headlines this year by scooping the top spot in the UK singles charts with the 1992 anthem ‘Killing In the Name’. An internet campaign pitted the song against X Factor winner Joe McElderry’s ‘The Climb’. ‘Killing In the Name’ sold in excess of 500,000 downloads – 50,000 ahead of McElderry’s offering.
