Exclusive: Murphy's Live 2007 finalists announced
The two bands who are in the running to win a prize that includes a support slot with the Automatic, an EP with Fifa Records, studio recording time, full PR and a six month management deal, are exclusively revealed.
Hot Press can exclusively announce that the Irish acts slugging it out for the £10,000 grand prize are Ilya K from Waterford and The Chapters from Dublin, who pipped SuperJimenez and Philtre to the post.
The final of the competition, which takes place on May 10 at The Village in Dublin, will see Ilya K and The Chapters play a full support slot at The Village, Dublin before Cardiff's' finest, The Automatic, take to the stage.
The winner of the impressive prize package will be announced on the night.
