Exclusive: Conway Savage announces new Irish tour
This May, Conway Savage will take to the stage for his new Irish tour. Best known for his role the keyboard/piano player with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Savage is flying solo this time around.
Influenced by the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Willie Nelson, Savage pens heartfelt songs with a country infused sound. He will be joined by Amanda Fox and Robert Tickner, members of the Melbourne band The Stream. Fellow songwriter Jim Yamouridis will also be on board. Coming off the All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival, Savage and company are gathering momentum to make a good first impression on the Irish scene.
