Ex-Marshals and Television Room man launches solo career

Former Marshals and Television Room man Michael John opens his solo account with the digital release of One In Five, a four-tracker that in addition to the title-track features ‘Devil In The Corner’, ‘Silver’ and ‘Stars And Clover’.
Appearing on June 14 as part of the Purty Sessions in The Purty Kitchen, Dun Laoghaire, he’s previewing the tracks on www.myspace.com/musicbymichaeljohn.
It’s the first taster from an album that’s due in September, and finds the Dubliner indulging his penchant for the likes of Chet Atkins, Leadbelly, Smog and Devendra Banhart.
