Eternal flame
JJ72 aim to hot up the charts with a re-recorded, John Leckie-produced version of I To Sky track 'Always And Forever'. Read on for details of B-sides and the video
JJ72 go for chart glory again on January 20 with a completely re-recorded version of 'Always And Forever'.
Not entirely satisfied with the I To Sky original, the band hooked up in the studio before Christmas with Stone Roses and Radiohead man John Leckie. The results, according to a totally unbiased and objective band source, are "fucking amazing!"
Bonus cuts on the various formats – which include a limited edition and numbered coloured vinyl 7" – are a Today FM Pet Sounds cover of Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game', a Dave Fanning Session version of 'Nameless' and a live 'City' recorded at their invite-only POD gig. The accompanying video was shot before Christmas in a wood outside Prague and stars Mark Greaney, a dog and an owl – no making your own jokes up there!
