Electric Picnic to retain Reward Scheme Tickets
Lest there be any doubt, Electric Picnic has confirmed that it will be back next year from August 29 – August 31.
Reward Scheme Tickets go on sale on December 2 in time for Crimbo, with anyone who attended 2013’s bash automatically being sent a code by Ticketmaster.
Details of how this can be redeemed for a discount will be announced shortly.
As previously reported on hotpress.com, Electric Picnic is looking to expand following its latest 35,000-capacity sellout.
“I will be talking with Laois County Council about the possibility of increasing capacity by perhaps another 5,000,” EP organiser Melvin Benn said in early September. “Gardai ran a fantastic traffic management plan; there were hardly any traffic jams. We are very happy with all the elements of organisation. I think there’s room to get bigger for certain.”
