Elder Roche releases single & plots tour
Ireland has a new singer-songwriter to be reckoned with.
Having previously supported the likes of Paddy Casey, Juno Falls and the Damiens Rice and Dempsey, Elder Roche makes his own bid for singer-songwriter immortality with the April 24 iTunes release of ‘Diamond’.
Commended recently for his “powerful storytelling songs that bring to mind the genius of Leonard Cohen and Neil Diamond”, the self-styled “Dublin musical poet” plays hometown shows in Bewley’s Café Theatre (April 17) and Upstairs @ Whelan’s (July 26 and August 9 & 16).
On top of that, Roche is plotting a nationwide tour for June and July.
