Edwyn Collins hospilatised after brain haemorrhage
Glaswegian singer and producer Edwyn Collins remains in hospital following a brain haemorrhage at the weekend
Edwyn Collins, former Orange Juice frontman, is in hospital having suffered a brain haemorrhage.
Glasgow-born Collins, best known for his solo hit ‘A Girl Like You’, was taken to hospital on Sunday (February 20) but it is still touch-and-go.
A spokesman said: “Edwyn Collins suffered a cerebral haemorrhage on Sunday night and has been in hospital since, where doctors are trying to stabilise his condition.”

Collins signed to Setanta Records in 1993, where he released his biggest solo album ‘Gorgeous George’. He also produced albums for a number of artists, including the Frank & Walters and A House.
