Eamon Keane live at Whelan's
The December 1 show will feature songs from his not yet recorded debut album, and you can pick up a limited copy of his signature song, 'Hang the Moon'.
Pianist, poet, singer, songwriter and broadcaster Eamon Keane and his band will play at Whelan’s on Tuesday 1 December. Doors are at 8pm.
Tickets are available now from whelanslive.com priced €10, and also at the door on the night of the show.
The set list he plays for this last live performance of 2009 will be a preview of his currently untitled debut album, which he will go into the studio in January to record.
A limited run of signed CDs of his signature song; ‘Hang the Moon’ will be available on the night. ‘Hang the Moon’, an original composition and a tribute to Eamon’s father, was recorded at the urging of the late Ronnie Drew, who first heard Eamon perform it at The National Concert Hall. The decision to issue a limited run CD was prompted by the response the song has received at Eamon’s previous live performances.
