The follow-on single to The Coral’s excellent 2002 debut LP is a superb aural tapestry: supremely funky bass groove, psychedelic effects and piercing guitars, all topped off by frontman James Skelly’s cocksure-yet-bruised, Ian McCullough-aping vocals. Suddenly, that second album doesn’t look so difficult after all.
