Taylor Swift releases new video for 'Patient Zero', starring Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson

Taylor Swift's new music video for 'Patient Zero', is now available on Spotify and Apple Music.

The video premiered at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, starring Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson as an unhappily married couple. Swift also stars Farrell's deceased ex-wife, haunting the pair through the story. Cara Delevigne, a close friend of Swift, has a cameo in the video.

Taylor Swift made VMA history on Sunday by becoming the most awarded artist ever. She was tied with Beyoncé for 30 awards, however, the singer won 3 awards on the night, bringing her total number of VMAs to 33.

Swift won Video of the Year for 'The Fate of Ophelia' and Best Direction for 'Opalite.' She was also awarded the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors, for her music video direction.

She released her new album The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, on Friday, September 25.

The original record was released in October 2025. It was the global best-selling album of 2025, with songs including 'The Fate of Ophelia' and 'Opalite' reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Music Chart.

The deluxe version features four new songs, including 'Patient Zero', along with the LPs original tracklist.
