U2 share video for new single 'The Greatest Show On Earth' – and announce world tour

Ahead of the release of Carnaval De Luz next month, U2 are back with another new track from the album – with 'The Greatest Show On Earth' released today, alongside an accompanying music video by Anton Corbijn.

To coincide with the news, the Irish band have announced 'Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth', a world tour that will kick off in Mexico City in February, before continuing on to São Paulo and Buenos Aires. Beck is set to support in all three cities.

Additional 2027 dates for Europe and North America are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The new single, 'The Greatest Show On Earth', was co-written by U2 and Brian Eno. It follows the previously released singles 'Street Of Dreams' and 'Silencio'.

Carnaval De Luz, U2's 16th studio album, is set to be released on November 13.

Produced by Jacknife Lee, the album is described as "a collection of 12 songs exploring themes of spirituality, friendship, freedom and endurance in the face of dark, encroaching forces."
