Dilated Peoples for Crawdaddy
Among the fine acts lined up for Dublin's Crawdaddy venue are Dilated Peoples, Lucky Dube and Toots & The Maytals
West Coast hip hop legends Dilated Peoples arrive in next month for a brace of shows at Crawdaddy, Dublin (June 1) and Empire Music Hall, Belfast (2).
Expect to hear a tune or five from Neighborhood Watch, their new album which finds them partnered in the studio by Jay-Z, DMX and Ludacris associate Kayne West.
Also up and coming at the capital's small but perfectly formed Crawdaddy venue are South Africa's Lucky Dube (May 27) and the 14-piece Toots & The Maytals (June 29). Up there with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh in the reggae legends stakes, the latter have just released their Eric Clapton, Ryan Adams and Willie Nelson-assisted True Love album.
