Derek Mooney returns to RTÉ Radio 1
The first Mooney Goes Wild airs this Sunday.
He left his afternoon slot on RTÉ Radio 1 in January, but Derek Mooney is about to return to the station.
The first in a new series of his popular nature programme, Mooney Goes Wild, goes out Sunday April 5. The series will air between 10pm and 11pm each Sunday night, as Mooney and guests explore the wonders of the natural wonder. Regular contributors will include Eanna Ní Lamhna, Terry Flanagan, Dr. Richard Collins and Philip McCabe. The first programme finds Ní Lamhna in the Bat Lab in UCD, filmmaker Josh Zeman talking to Collins about his search for "the loneliest whale in the world" and more.
