Cypress Hill are reissuing their debut... in a skull!
There are just 1,991 copies of their 1991 classic
Forget bonus CDs; Cypress Hill are offering fans "25th anniversary skulls" as part of their reissue of their debut album.
The eponymous record will be included in a black resin sculpture of the group's skull logo. Purchasers can peel back the skull's cap to get out their CD. There will be 1,991 skull copies in honor of the album's 1991 release date.
Get on Down Records, who is putting out the reissue, has been noted for their creative approaches to rereleases in the past. Their past reissues include GZA's Liquid Swords and The Fat Boys' debut album; the former included a chess set, while the latter came in a pizza box.
Cypress Hill is currently on a 25th anniversary world tour. Check out the video for the Cypress Hill cut 'How I Could Just Kill a Man' below.
