Conor McGregor's involvement at UFC 196 in jeopardy
It is being reported that Rafael dos Anjos has pulled out of the lightweight bout due to take place on March 5th in Las Vegas
Reports suggest that Rafael dos Anjos has pulled out of next Saturday’s showdown against Conor McGregor at the MGM Grand.
The lightweight champion has apparently suffered a foot injury, throwing the plans for UFC 196 up in the air.
Details are still unknown as to exactly what has happened, but it is being reported in Brazil that the injury occurred at his training camp as he set out to defend his lightweight belt against The Notorious.
This now puts McGregor's involvement at UFC 196 in doubt - certainly, the possibility of him becoming the first dual belt holder in UFC history is now on hold.
More details to follow...
