MOBO Awards 2026: Olivia Dean among winners
There was disappointment on the night for Dublin star Jazzy, who lost out in the Best Electronic and Dance Act category.
Olivia Dean was the big winner at this year's MOBO Awards – an annual celebration of excellence in music and culture of Black origin.
Held at Manchester's Co-op Live Arena on Thursday, March 26, the event marked three decades since the MOBO organisation was founded.
The MOBO Lifetime Achievement award was given to British-American rapper and record producer Slick Rick. He took to the stage with singer Estelle for a collaborative performance showcasing his hip hop journey.
Dean went home with three awards, winning Song of the Year for her single 'Man I Need', Album of the Year for The Art of Loving, as well as Best Female Act.
She was also among the artists performing at the ceremony, hosted by comedian Eddie Kadi and hip hop star Eve.
Dublin dance-pop star Jazzy missed out on an award in the Best Electronic and Dance Act category, with the award going to Sherelle. Jazzy was nominated alongside the likes of PinkPantheress, KILIMANJARO, FKA Twigs, and Salute.
Other winners of the night included Williams for Global Songwriter Award, nineteen-year-old DC3 for Best Newcomer and Best Gospel, as well as Ezra Collective for Best Jazz act.
