T'PAU announce new album after eleven years
The news about the record follows the release of their single 'Read My Lips'.
The English duo T'PAU have announced their first album in eleven years, titled Be Wonderful, set for release on April 10.
It's the group's first album of original material since 2015's Pleasure and Pain. Be Wonderful, recorded at band member Ronnie Roggers' Up The Lane studio in Monmouth, Wales, will feature a total of ten tracks.
The album cover depicts T'PAU's vocalist Carol Decker at ten years old. The photo was taken by her late uncle in the late '60s.
The news about the record follows the release of their single 'Read My Lips'.
"'Read My Lips' is about pushing back and doing what you feel is right for you," said T'PAU's lead singer Carol Decker.
"The song is really about overcoming your own self-doubt." "I'm still waiting for the day to come when I'm old enough to be wise! But you just have to dust yourself off, stand up and start again, and 'keep your foot on the gas.'"
T'Pau, formed in 1986 by Decker and Roggers, had a string of Top 40 hits in the UK during the late '80s and early '90s, including 'China in Your Hand', 'Heart and Soul', and 'Valentine', before disbanding in 1992.
They reunited in 2013 for their 25th-anniversary UK tour. Since then, they have been a regular feature at big festivals such as the Isle Of Wight Festival, Rewind, Let’s Rock, Here And Now, as well as Forever Young festival.
