There's a host of Christmas bashes taking place - which are also in aid of charity, if you're in the generous mood.
First up, there's Bring The Toys 2006, which features the likes The Chalets girls, The Leather Girls, Donal Dineen (Today FM), Richie Jape, Gav Feeney, Simon Conway (Electric City). It takes place at The Bernard Shaw, Portobello, Dublin on Thursday 14 December.
The charidee asepct comes in that the entry free is either an unwrapped present, or €10, both of which will go to the Temple and Crumlin Children's Hospital.
If you're busy that night, a host of comedians, musicians and street performers will take to the Whelan's stage on December 18. They're all lending their support to Kariso, a member of the Limbo Dancing Troupe who was stabbed in Temple Bar during a street performance a few months ago, and has been unable to work since.
Among the line-up are David McSavage, Declan Roone, Bernard O'Shea, John Colleary and The Bionic Rats.
Tickets for this benefit gig are €15.
