Chip Taylor Ireland-bound
Chip Taylor and Carrie Rodriguez, joined by John Platania, will play four dates across Ireland next week
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Chip Taylor will be in Ireland next week for dates in Derry (19th, Da Vinci's Hotel), Rostrevor (20th, St. Bronagh's Social Club), Dublin (21st, The Cobblestone) and Belfast (22nd, Auntie Annie's).
Born and raised in New York, Chip's career in country music stretches back to the early 1960s, while his multi-genre songwriting skills saw him penning hits for everyone from Chrissie Hynde ('Angel Of The Morning') to Jimi Hendrix ('Wild Thing' ).
This year, Chip Taylor has reunited with Texan violinist Carrie Rodriguez and will release a new album The Trouble With Humans. Rodriguez joins Chip Taylor on his Irish dates, alongside guest guitarist John Platania (Van Morrison, Bonnie Raitt).
