Catchers frontman returns
There’s good news for fans of former Setanta act Catchers as their mainman Dale Grundle returns with a new outfit, The Sleeping Years.
The band have just unleashed their debut You And Me Against The World EP.
Not only are the five acoustic-driven tracks – ‘You And Me Against The World’, ‘The Lockkeeper’s Cottage’, ‘The 22nd House’, ‘Dressed For Rain’ and ‘How Long Have You Waited?’– absolutely gorgeous, but they’re also housed in a hand-stitched cloth sleeve with a name tag attached. Collectible or what?
Originally from Portstewart in County Derry, Grundle is currently based in London but makes regular forays to France where the Gallic John Peel, Bernard Lenoir, is a huge admirer.
You can order You And Me Against The World online from www.sleepingyears.com/EP1.htm.
