Canavan offers free download and video with Pugwash
Brian Canavan has posted a free download of his album You're An Electron I'm An Electron
To coincide with Canavan’s free album offer, he has also recorded a video for ‘Gin Wars’ that features a special appearance by everyone’s favourite pirate – Captain Pugwash. Catch it at http://tinyurl.com/y9eo89a.
Since its release, singles from You're An Electron I'm An Electron (‘Go’, ‘Carol Vorderman’ and ‘4 Foolscap Pages’) have been played and performed on The Last Broadcast, Rick O’Shea, Radio 1, The Ray D’Arcy Show and 3e, as well as being voted one of the albums of the year on Live 95 (Limerick) and Beat FM (South East). A review of the album in Hot Press said that “with so many solo stars in waiting it can often be hard to stand out from the crowd. Thankfully Brian Canavan manages to do that and more….a huge talent”.
The album has also been described as well endowed with quirky catchy pop songs, beautiful melodies and a fair share of humour.
You can download the album for free from http://briancanavan.bandcamp.com.
Canavan is also performing with Noise Control in the Academy, Dublin on Wednesday March 24 from 8pm.
