Campbell for Canada festival & US concerts
Rostrevor-based folk singer Fil Campbell is off to Canada to appear at the Celtic College and Celtic Roots Festival in Ontario.
Alongside her back-up musicians Brendan Emmett and Tom McFarland, she'll also tutor classes during the week of the festival, giving workshops on The First Ladies of Irish Song and vocal technique.
This is Campbell's first festival in Canada, following which she'll do solo concerts in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. Back home she’ll play the Canal Court in Newry on Sunday, November 28 to raise funds for the Newry Hospice.
