Brandi Carlile makes Irish debut

Brandi Carlile opens her Irish account on August 6 in the Dublin Academy.
Described recently as the “country girl with a massive indie swagger”, the Seattle-based 28-year-old has exploded in the States after having three of her tracks featured on Grey’s Anatomy. Tickets are €16.45.
Formerly employed as an Elvis impersonator’s backing singer, her second album, The Story, is out now.
