Bootsy Collins brings new band to Dublin
The punk-funk legend that is Bootsy Collins brings his new outfit, The Hardest Working Band, to Dublin this summer.
The Hardest Working Band play Tripod, Dublin, on July 4. Tickets go on sale shortly priced from €44.50.
Coming to prominence in the 1960s as a member of James Brown’s backing group The J.B.’s, Collins went on to play with George Clinton in Parliament and Funkadelic, and then formed his own Rubber Band.
Following his Irish sojourn, August 5 finds his Science Faxtion side-project releasing their self-titled debut album through Mascot. Band personel include former Guns N’ Roses man Buckethead.
