Bon Iver to play Tripod
Wisconsin folk act Bon Iver have announced that they will end their upcoming European tour with a date in Tripod in October.
Bon Iver (an intentional mis-spelling / adaptation of 'Bon Hiver', French for 'Good Winter') is the work of Justin Vernon, who created Bon Iver's debut album during a voluntary exile to a Wisconsin log cabin. The critically acclaimed Emma, Forever Ago was self-released in 2007 and received wider release on the 4AD label in the UK and Ireland in May.
Bon Iver plays Tripod on Tuesday October 7.
