The band have rescheduled their European tour, meaning they won't make it to Punchestown this year
Punk pop act Blink-182 have confirmed that they won't perform at this year's Oxegen as previously planned.
As their upcoming album is not yet finished, the band have rescheduled the dates of their upcoming European tour, meaning that they'll miss out on both Oxegen and T In The Park.
Mark, Tom and Travis say: "It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce our planned 2011 European Summer tour has been rescheduled. When we booked the tour last year, we were confident that we would have the new album out before the Summer. Turns out we were mistaken as the album is taking longer than we thought and won't be out till later this year. We hoped we would have some new songs to play rather than do another 'greatest hits tour' which you all saw last Summer. As much as we know our fans would be cool with that, we feel that we owe you guys something new when you spend your money to come see us. Frankly, it's what needs to continue for us to remain vital."

Fans keen to catch the trio will be happy to hear that they've added Dublin and Belfast dates onto next Summer’s tour: they'll play Dublin's O2 on June 12, 2012 and Belfast's Odyssey Arena (13).
