Rumour has it she is set for a string of Irish shows next summer in Croker
BoyleSports has had to suspend betting on singer Adele playing Croke Park next year after a flurry of bets on Thursday morning.
Tickets for her recent show at Dublin's 3Arena were like gold dust as fans called in every favour to get their hands on tickets for the superstar.
“Our traders smelt a rat after we were bombarded with bets on Adele on Thursday morning," said BoyleSports spokesperson, Liam Glynn. "Despite cutting the price into 1/3 punters couldn’t get enough and if Adele is confirmed to play Croke Park in 2017 we are going to be “Rolling in the Deep”.
“Rumours had already circulated on Thursday about Adele playing Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork next year but it certainly now looks like she is set to take to the stage in GAA headquarters next year,” he added.
Adele was initially priced as the 5/4, second favourite after Garth Brooks to play the Dublin stadium in 2017, but following numerous bets placed across Dublin city centre shops on Thursday she was cut into 1/3 favourite.

The support showed no signs of drying up at 1/3 so our traders had no choice but to suspend the betting on the 'Hello' singer.
It could be an amazing summer to look forward to next year at Croker.
