The programme features 20-30 minutes dedicated to a single local band, who either give an exclusive studio performance, or are filmed at The Belfast Empire.
Past bands in the spotlight include The Answer, Panda Kopanda, The Chalets and Fighting With Wire, but coming up on January 31 is a 'best of' episode featuring the likes of Red Sirus, Indigo Fury, We Are Knives and The Rivals.
The show airs on Tuesdays at 5pm and is repeated every hour or so until 5pm the following day.
If you're in the Belfast area, you can receive NvTv in much the same way as the BBC and UTV by tuning in your television set to channel 62, or frequency 799.276MHz.
