Beautiful Unit announce tour with a difference

Dublin experimentalists Beautiful Unit have announced details of their New Sounds, Different Spaces tour, which takes them to some unusual places next month.
You can catch Messrs. Mooney and Eadie in a disused ESB sub-station, Cork (10 @ 4pm, free); De Barra’s, Clonakilty (11, free); disused shop-front, Sligo (16, free); back of a van, Temple Bar (25); Airfield House, Dundrum (30); and the car park, Eddie Murphy’s, Thomastown (November 1 @ 6pm, free).
The duo, who “explore the sonic possibilities of real time sound manipulation using 8 bit sampling, repetitive grooves and live music”, will be issuing tour updates on www.myspace.com/theeerupeanson.
