Irish talent is all over the list of nominees for the 2015 BAFTA Awards
This years BAFTA Awards nominees have been announced! The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards are some of the most prestigious and recognizable trophies someone in the industry can receive, so we're naturally happy to see Ireland well represented among the list of nominations.
James Nesbitt, who gained some recent international recognition for his role in The Hobbit trilogy, is up for Leading Actor for his acclaimed performance in the BBC One series The Missing.
In the Supporting Actor category, Belfast-born Stephen Rea is up for a trophy for his role in The Honourable Woman.
For Male Performance in a Comedy Program, Brendan O'Carroll is nominated for his turn in Mrs. Brown's Boys, while Chris O'Dowd's Moone Boy is up for Best Scripted Comedy.

Finally, Graham Norton is up for best Entertainment Performance in The Graham Norton Show, while the program itself is up for the best Comedy and Comedy Entertainment award.
