Two tracks from either side of the commercial dance sector. The Shamen have their usual Hi N-R-G sound with ‘Comin’ On’ operating as the flagship track on this e.p. Incidentally, a donation will be made to the New Statesman Defence Fund for every copy sold. Vertigo on the other hand press their claims with a synth-brassy soul number. All very well, but both slip neatly into a formula, and fail to rise above it.
