Publishing Director with Hot Press & Operations Director of hotpress.com, Duan has been involved in music almost since birth, citing Bob Marley’s Dalymount Park concert as the first gig he remembers. He was five-years-old at the time. After studying Business and Politics at Trinity College Dublin, later taking an MBS course at UCD, he worked for Polygram Merchandising in the US, touring with teen sensations Hanson amongst others. As of April 2011 he was elected chairman of Magazines Ireland Duan and he became a father for the first time in 2009. However, his daughter Siena is unlikely ever to join Duan at the heart of the Hot Press Munchengladbach defence.
