Angie Stone for Vicar St.
Angie Stone makes a welcome return to Dublin on July 20 when she does her R&B belter thing in Vicar St.
The visit is in support of Mahogany Soul, the American's second album which makes no secret of its Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway influences.
"I don't go for the trendy commercial approach," Stone says. "What I do is basic soul music – no frills added."

Tickets for her Irish stop-off are on sale now priced €36.
