Andrea Corr confirms covers album
The singer will put her spin on hits by John Lennon, Donna Summer and Nick Drake
Andrea Corr has confirmed the May 27 release here of Lifelines, a covers album that includes her take on songs by some pretty big name artists.
Andrea - most well known as the frontwoman of trad-pop family band The Corrs - will offer her version of John Lennon’s ‘No. 9 Dream’, Billie Holiday’s ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’, Kirsty MacColl’s ‘They Don’t Know’, Nick Drake’s ‘From The Morning’, Donna Summer’s ‘State Of Independence’, Velvet Underground’s ‘Pale Blue Eyes’ and The Blue Nile’s ‘Tinseltown In The Rain’, which is the lead single.
Produced by John Reynolds, the album is available in a number of different formats including a Super Deluxe box that includes a t-shirt, DVD and a lithograph designed, signed and numbered by Ms. Corr.
