The Analog festival returns to Dublin from July 18 to 20 with a bill that’s even more eclectic than the one it launched with last year.
Headlining the opening night in Grand Canal Square is maverick producer Hal Wilner who’ll be presenting Rogue’s Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys, a live version of the album that featured such heavy-hitters as Nick Cave, Sting, Jarvis Cocker, Gavin Friday and Bono.
Tickets are €49.95.
The rest of the line-up comprises:
Friday 18 – Johann Johannson + Chequerboard @ CHQ, 8pm; and Arctic Circle, The Sleeping Years, Dollboy + Songdog @ CHQ, 11pm
Saturday 19 – Tortoise + Efterklang @ Grand Canal Square, 7pm; Silje Nes @ CHQ, 8pm; and Ninepoint Records night featuring Threadpulls @ CHQ, 11pm
Saturday 20 – Taraf De Haidouks + Vinicius Cantuária @ Grand Canal Square, 4pm; Iain Sinclair’s Here-Not-Here @ Venue TBC, 6.30pm; and Joanathan Coe & The High Llamas @ CHQ, 8pm
