Akon lines up Dublin and Belfast dates for October
He's bringing some of his pals with him.
Akon returns to Ireland in October for shows in the O2, Dublin (18) and Odyssey Arena, Belfast (19), tickets for which go on sale this Friday.
Accompanying him will be Colby O’Donis, Kardinal Offishal and other artists allied to his Konvict Muzik label.
The Senegalese R&B star should have the follow up to 2008’s Freedom out to coincide. Even more tantalisingly, there’s talk of some of the tracks he recorded last year with Michael Jackson getting a commercial release before Christmas.
