Aidan live album due
Folk rocker Aidan is getting ready to release a live album and what better way to spread the news than with a party?
The Irish singer/songwriter, who debuted in 2002 with the album “Walking Into Walls”, is set to mark the upcoming April release of “Live at Bewleys” by revisiting the Café Theatre on March 16. The cd covers Aidan’s November 2005 performance with some of Dublin’s finest musicians.
Included are Johny Rage from ITO, Jenny Lindfors, Cian Murphy from Berimbodhran, James Guilmartin, Ben Kritikos, Chris Morrin, and Niall James Holohan.
Aidan’s currently been seen playing around Ireland with folk group Tea (3 part harmony, clarinet, violin, guitar, percussion), The Happy Gang (7 part harmony, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo bass, drums, percussion, clarinet…), and his own 4 piece rock band which includes drums, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and 3 vocals.
While the list of sidekicks reads like a musical math equation, Aidan proves he’s not afraid to play with others and embrace rather than run from the old fear of ‘too many cooks in the kitchen.’
Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are 10 euros.
