Vocalist has been given stern warnings that he might go deaf if he continues
A serious warning that Brian Johnson risks going deaf if he continues to perform has seen AC/DC cancel a run of gigs.
The Aussie rockers have spiked 10 scheduled performances in North America as the vocalist faces an uncertain future.
"AC/DC are forced to reschedule the 10 upcoming dates on the U.S. leg of their “Rock or Bust” World Tour. AC/DC’s lead singer, Brian Johnson, has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss."
The statement adds that the dates will be made up later in the year - though add that it will be "likely with a guest vocalist".
The Newcastle-born singer has been a member of the iconic group since 1980, when he made his bow with Back In Black. Since then, he's become one of the most recognisable voices in rock, and was inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame in 2003.
