8 Ball to open Union: weekly gigs at Liberty Hall
8 Ball and The Tycho Brahe (DJ set) will be christening the stage of Union, a new rock night at Liberty Hall
Stick it in your FiloFax now – Sunday March 28. That's the date when Dublin's latest rock night, Union, debuts at Dublin's Liberty Hall.
Playing live are the band described by Hot Press as "the missing link between The Thrills and The Jimmy Cake", 8 Ball. Currently working on their debut album, they'll have a single, 'Strange Boy', in the shops to coincide.
Also on the bill are The Tycho Brahe who'll be playing a rare – and, we're told, extremely eclectic – DJ set.
The quality control shows no signs of dipping in the months ahead with El Diablo, NPB, Juliet Turner, Turn, Future Kings Of Spain, The Pale, La Rocca, Fair Verona, The Dudley Corporation, Berkeley, Rest, Rulers Of The Planet and Halite all booked in for appearances.
