Peaky Blinders film The Immortal Man to come out in March
The film will premiere in select cinemas on March 6 and on Netflix on March 20.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, the film sequel to the hugely successful series Peaky Blinders, is set to premiere in select cinemas on March 6, with a Netflix release to follow on March 20.
The film will star Cillian Murphy, who will be reprising his role as this iconic Thomas Shelby, as well as Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth, among others, and is directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight.
“Birmingham, 1940,” the official logline reads. “Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet.
“With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders…”
In October, the BBC also announced that Peaky Blinders would return with two new series, focusing on a new generation of the Shelby family, although no casting details or release dates have been confirmed at this time.
Peaky Blinders originally aired on BBC Two in 2013 and concluded its sixth series in 2022.
