Netflix has released the official trailer for their upcoming film Peaky Blinders: Immortal Man, starring Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, and Stephen Graham.
The film is set in 1940s Birmingham, six years after the finale of the award-winning show Peaky Blinders. Tommy Shelby (Murphy) has left the Peaky Blinders gang, which is now being run by his illegitimate son, Duke Shelby (Keoghan). With the onset of World War II, Duke is courted by Nazi sympathizers, and Tommy is forced to step back into his old life.
In addition to Murphy, Sophie Rundle, Stephen Graham, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck will reprise their roles from the show.
The trailer is set to ‘Puppet’, by Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C., a song written for the film’s soundtrack. The soundtrack is also set to feature original music from Amy Taylor of Amyl and the Sniffers.
The film is out in theatres on March 6, and will be released on Netflix on March 20.
