Wire play Dublin
The punk survivors have confirmed a Whelan's date in June.
Punk era legends Wire have announced a June 6 visit to Whelan’s, with ticket details to follow.
Although part of the same London Roxy Club scene as X-Ray-Spex, The Adverts and The Damned, the band refused to conform to three chord orthodoxy and produced such groundbreaking albums as Pink Flag, Chairs Missing and 154.
After a decade long break, they returned in 2003 with Send and then last year unleashed the wondrous Object 47.
