WATCH: The Light Between Oceans Trailer

The Oscars are soon upon us and our fingers are crossed for Kerryman Michael Fassbender whose trailer has just been released for the upcoming screen adaptation of The Light Between Oceans.
Taken from ML Stedman's best-selling novel, The Light Between Oceans is the story of couple Tom and Isabel who live on a sparse island. One day the pair discover a small boat with a dead man and a baby. They decide to raise the child as their own but years later, their happy family life comes crashing down in a way they never imagined possible .Co-starring in the film is Fassbender's fellow Oscar nominee Alicia Vikander and previous winner Rachel Weisz.
Fassbender is in a chance to win a Best Actor Award for his role as real-life mogul, Steve Jobs. The Oscars airs this coming Sunday 28th.
The Light Between Oceans is due for release later this year.
