Former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert arrested for attempted murder
Ebert's bail/bond review hearing is set to happen on Thursday, April 2 in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert has been arrested for an attempted second-degree murder, according to reports from the US.
Ebert was a founding member of the Grammy-winning Turnstile, formed in 2010. He continued to play with them until 2022, when he was fired from the band following the release of Glow On.
The Metal & Hardcore music magazine Lambgoat were the first to report the news, also claiming that there is another charge of first-degree assault.
They said that the arrest relates to an incident from March 29. The musician has been reportedly held on bail without bond since March 30.
Earlier this year, Ebert criticised his former band after they condemned ICE on social media, claiming they only pretend to care about social issues.
He wrote on Instagram, "No one in Turnstile cares at all about ethics or social issues in general, they're just pandering to their audience."
Shortly after these comments, he was fired by his new band The S.E.T., who wrote on Instagram: "Brady is no longer a member of The S.E.T. We will not stand by his ridiculous comments and behaviour toward the members of our band and our community."
Ebert's bail/bond review hearing is set to happen on Thursday, April 2 in Montgomery County, Maryland.
