Kasabian share new single from their upcoming album Act III

Kasabian have release a new single 'Great Pretender' from their upcoming album Act III, out July 17.

"'Great Pretender' is about imposter syndrome not as a weakness, but as a sign you're on the edge of something real," said the band's vocalist Sergio Pizzorino about the single.

"It's that feeling right before you step on stage, when the lights go down and it’s now or never."

So far, Kasabian have shared one other single from Act III, titled 'Hippie Sunshine'. The album, produced by Sergio and Mark Ralph, features ten guitar-driven, psyche-infused pop tracks and 3 interludes.

Originally formed in lead singer Sergio's bedroom in Leicester back in 1997, Kasabian have gone on to release eight studio albums, seven of which topped the UK charts.

Also featuring Chris Edwards, Ian Matthews, and Tim Carter, the group is known for their energetic live performances. Their most recent Irish show was at the 3Arena in November of 2024, following the release of their latest album, Happenings, where the Leicester-formed band delivered an "earth-shattering, frenetic gig."

The group will play their headline Dublin show at Fairview Park on June 16. Elsewhere, they are set to make a special guest appearance on the new Sky One Saturday Night Live UK this Saturday, April 4.
