Bell X1 announce album release date and Irish tour

It will include stops in Wexford, Dublin, Belfast and more from October to December.

Bell X1 have announced the release date for their upcoming ninth album Good Bones, due out on November 13, 2026.

The band also shared the details of their Autumn/Winter Irish tour, kicking off in Wexford’s Spiegelten on October 17, followed by stops in Dublin, Cork, Derry, and Belfast, before wrapping up in Kerry’s Gleneagle Club on December 19.

The announcement follows Bell X1’s recent singles ‘But First, Love’ and ‘Coughing Up Butterflies’.

Good Bones was recorded with producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin at Dreamland Recording Studios in Upstate New York.

"The record was made shortly after losing our friend and collaborator, Glenn Keating, and was a very heightened, emotional, but beautiful time," said frontman Paul Noonan on the album.

"Truly immersing ourselves in the making, without distraction and with open hearts, felt profound and cathartic. Glenn was talked about a lot and felt very present. Josh and Dan were very sensitive to this and brought such brilliance and care to the process."

Dublin musician and multi-instrumentalist Glenn Keating passed away on March 4, this year, at the age of 43, following a six-year battle with bowel cancer.

Over the course of their career, Bell X1 have earned a number of Choice Music Prize nominations, including for their records Flock (2005) and Blue Lightson the Runway (2009).

This summer, they performed several major shows across the country, including stops at Crok’s Live at the Marquee, Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens and Galway International Arts Festival.
